CONTEXT

Administrative/Biographical history:

Saint Paul's, Walworth was constructed in 1856 and a parish was assigned in 1857. The building was destroyed during the Second World War, but was rebuilt in 1956. The parish is now referred to as Saint Paul, Newington.

Records of the parish of Saint Paul, Lorrimore Square, Walworth, including registers of baptisms, marriages, funerals and church services; Vestry and Parochial Church Council minutes; financial accounts; faculties; papers relating to the purchase of land by the London, Dover and Chatham Railway Company; and administrative papers.
