ARCHIVAL INFORMATION
Archival history:
These records were part of an ad hoc collection of miscellaneous records built up by John Bennett of West Mersea, Essex, and bequeathed to the Essex Record Office in 1984. The Essex material has been retained at Essex Record Office, whilst the non-Essex records have been dispersed to other record offices.
Immediate source of acquisition:
Donated to the Archive in 1985.
