London Wholesale Fish Trade (Billingsgate) Limited was a trading company formed in 1946 at the incorporation of the London Fish Trade Association (see CLC/B/151-04). The new company was established to deal in, export/import and act as broker and agent for fish. It also took over the various schemes formerly run by the association.

London Wholesale Fish Trade (Billingsgate) Limited records comprise: memorandum and articles of association, 1946 (Ms 19830); minutes of directors' and general meetings, 1946-76 (Ms 19831); register of directors, 1946-7 (Ms 19832); annual accounts and balance sheets, 1947-76 (Ms 19833); and financial and operational records, 1947-76 (Ms 19834-45).

The records were deposited in Guildhall Library by London Fish Merchants' Association in 1982, and were catalogued by Guildhall Library staff shortly afterwards. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
