The Freemasons Charity for Female Children or Royal Masonic Institution for Girls was founded in 1788. A building was erected for it in St Georges Fields, Southwark, in 1795. It moved to Wandsworth in 1852. It moved to Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire c 1935.
