Administrative/Biographical history:

Services commenced at the Baptist Mission Hall, Pownall Road on 5 November 1885. A temporary iron building was erected in Dawes Road in February 1887 and used until the opening of the permanent building in 1889. Alterations were carried out in July 1977 and the Church was rededicated on 29 October 1977. Further alterations were carried out in 1989.

Immediate source of acquisition:

Discovered by computer consultants who took over a solicitor's office and found this material left behind. They transferred it to BRA who deposited it at Hammersmith and Fulham Archives and Local Studies in 1975.

Transferred from Hammersmith and Fulham Archives and Local History Centre in 2015.
