As part of the London 2024 A&B Conference, the Old Operating Theatre & Herb Garrett is hosting a unique exhibition of international and renowned artists, who have gathered within this historic setting to explore pressing questions of the human body, it’s anatomy, and beyond. “The exhibition is a thrilling opportunity to dive deep into the ever-shifting dynamics of the body, mind, and the world we inhabit”, says Dr Monica A. Walker, Engagement and Front of House Manager for the Old Operating Theatre. “From the revolutionary ideas of Galen and Vesalius, you will be taken on a journey through the scientific and philosophical landscapes that have shaped our understanding of corporality, consciousness, humanity, and transhumanism”.
