In 1889 the school moved to The Shrubbery in Streatham High Road. Miss Amy Lefroy was the school's second headmistress from May 1989 until July 1929. In July 1908 the school changed its name to Streatham College for Girls. The third headmistress was Miss A J Broad. The school was closed in July 1933 when the lease on the house could not be renewed.
