Papers relating to his service in World War Two, 1942-1945, principally comprising copies of typescript accounts of his escape from a POW camp in Libya, 1942, and of his service with 'A' Force in escape operations in Western Desert, 1942, Italy, 1943-1944, and Austria, 1945, written in [1945-1950], with related photographs, 1942-1945; typescript eyewitness account ofGerman atrocities against Italian peasants, 1943-1944, written in [1945]; official printed 'Analysis of surrendered German armies in Italy', issued by the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff (Operational Intelligence Section), Allied Force HQ, 1945.
