Administrative/Biographical history:
Title deeds relate to property owned by King's College Hospital in the Lincoln's Inn area of London and at Denmark Hill, Lambeth, Surrey. The Hospital also leased land and buildings. As the Hospital progressed and expanded, more legal transactions occurred. It also benefited from the receipt of wills and legacies. Some King's College Hospital deeds were released to the custody of the College Solicitor in 1996, for delivery to the National Health Service Trust's solicitors.

King's College Hospital title deeds and legal documents, 1562-[1975], comprising, title deeds with schedules, 1562-1915, (KH/T1), relating to the Hospital sites such as in the Lincolns Inn area and Denmark Hill; deeds not on schedules, 1875-1923, (KH/T1), such as abstract of leases, and copies or drafts of conveyances and agreements; wills and legacies benefiting the Hospital, 1873-1908, (KH/T2), including correspondence and papers relating to cases, and copies of the wills; legal documents, 1876-1963, (KH/T3), including agreements between such parties as the London County Council, the Local Government Board, societies, individuals and the Hospital, usually concerning medical treatments, also includes copies of wills, and Lloyds of London certificates of fidelity insurance against cash in transit; files, 1907-[1975], (KH/T), including the House Governor's office files, and schedules of deeds and documents relating to the Denmark Hill site, Dulwich Hamlet Athletic Ground, Dog Kennel Hill, and Strand House site.
