Administrative/Biographical history:

Sambon was intermittently employed by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum from 1903 onwards. He organised the 11th International Congress of Medicine (Rome, 1894).

Personal correspondence and papers of Louis Westenra Sambon, 1893-1923. These reflect his interest in the history of medicine and diseases caused by blood-borne parasites.
