A trading company, London Wholesale Fish Trade (Billingsgate) Limited, (CLC/B/151-05) was formed at the same time to take over the operation of the various schemes.

The records were deposited by the London Fish Merchants' Association (Billingsgate) Ltd in 1982 and catalogued by a member of Guildhall Library staff. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
