Immediate source of acquisition:

The correspondence and miscellaneous papers of T H Huxley were purchased by the Friends of the National Libraries in 1937, and placed with Imperial College. Subsequent additions (to 1945) were made as gifts by private donors. The papers were listed by Warren R Dawson in 1945.
