And so to battle: a sailor's story, a memoir of his life and career, 1900-1967, notably his service in Russia, 1919-1920, the Mediterranean, 1922-1926, 1930-1931, 1938-1939 and 1943, and the East Indies, 1945, his work with the Director of Naval Ordnance, Admiralty and his service with 10 Destroyer Flotilla in the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay, 1944, written in [1976] and privately published in 1979.
