The papers relating to Scullard's published writings have been grouped relating to individual works; these are separate from the documents relating to his teaching career which are mainly bound in spring-back binders and arranged by course title or period covered by the notes. Boxes 11-14, containing typescripts and annotated proofs of A history of Rome down to the reign of Constantine, are uncatalogued.

Scullard bequeathed his library and papers to the Joint Library of the Hellenic and Roman Societies, London, in 1983.

Immediate source of acquisition:
