The articles, written by a variety of authors, were commissioned by Dr Heilbrunn with the intention of publishing a book on the recent history of Franfurt's Jews. The book was never published.

Scope and content/abstract:

Copies of articles and memoirs, 1958-1961, on Jewish organisations, companies and individuals who had a connection with the history of Frankfurt am Main; on Jewish involvement in industries in Frankfurt including metal work and textiles and a history of the Jewish religious community in Frankfurt. Also including a forward by Dr. Heilbrunn for his planned book about the history of Frankfurt's Jews and letters from potential contributors to the book, 1959-1961.
