10 tapes of interviews, conducted by John Adams, with former masters of workhouses with photographs, including John Adams, Lionel Lewis, Ray Livesey, Frank Hinchliffe, Clare Hinchliffe, Edwin Berry, John Dawber, Sid Blackman, A D Malcolm, Clifford Beddis and Don Ernsting.
